This represents the highest level of CHAS accreditation, specifically for organizations that exceed standard health and safety practices. It demonstrates a dedication to ongoing improvement and excellence in health and safety management.
The CHAS accreditation provides advantages by supporting buyers, suppliers, and clients in health and safety procedures. This helps to reduce redundancy as potential clients can trust our certification, saving time by confirming that we already meet many of the client’s requirements, especially in terms of health and safety. Safe Contractor GOLD Approved Electrical ContractorBy obtaining our SafeContractor gold approval & SafePQQ verified accreditations, we confirm compliance with crucial standards in Health and Safety, equal opportunities, diversity, and environmental management practices, all consolidated into a single comprehensive plan. SSIPAt Stamford EC, we prioritise our commitment to health and safety, diversity, and equality by obtaining nationally recognised accreditations. This includes our Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditation, which promotes mutual recognition of occupational health and safety standards, particularly in the construction industry. SSIP allows for streamlined recognition between health and safety pre-qualification schemes, ultimately saving time, effort, and expenses associated with obtaining multiple certifications.

Registered Competent Person ElectricalThe Competent Persons Register (CPR) includes all contractors in the building services industry who have been deemed competent by a government-approved certification scheme. Stamford Electrical Compliance (Stamford Property Maintenance Ltd) is among the electrical contractors on this register and undergo regular assessments to ensure we meet industry standards and can self-certify our work as compliant with building regulations.

Choosing us as your contractor means you can save time and money by not having to contact your local authority directly. Competent Person Schemes (CPS) were established by the UK Government to allow individuals and businesses to self-certify that their work meets Building Regulations, as an alternative to submitting a building notice or using an approved inspector.

A Competent Person must be registered with a scheme that has been approved by MHCLG (Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government).

PQSThe PQS Pre-Qualification-Scheme™ (PQS) is an accredited UKAS Inspection Body, a registered member of SSIP, and an approved provider for Crown Commercial Services G-Cloud. Stamford Electrical Compliance (Stamford Property Maintenance Ltd.) has successfully completed this scheme to ensure that our health and safety standards meet requirements. By completing the PQS Pre-Qualification-Scheme™, we have demonstrated our commitment to upholding the highest health and safety standards in everything we do. This accreditation gives our clients peace of mind, knowing that we have been independently assessed and approved by recognised bodies in the industry.

DBS Enhanced checkedWe frequently operate in schools and care facilities, making it crucial to be DBS checked. All of our staff and contractors have undergone an Enhanced DBS check, which is the most thorough criminal record check conducted by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
